• Directed, cast and produced a short self-esteem PSA with a group of adolescents, created as an interpretive response to the data-based research on self-verification theory 

• Drafted a proposal, IRB, literature review, coding schema, final paper and final presentation

Behavioral Psychology Research Intern                  2018 - Present​

• Only non-graduate student member of the “Girls Language and Boys Language Project Research Team” at the Science of Human Connection Lab under the direction of Dr. Niobe Way and PhD Candidate Angelica Puzio

• Responsible for research, coding, interview transcriptions and making weekly presentations to the team 

• Produced an in-depth review of literature on self-esteem and hesitant language across gender/racial groups

• Designed an independent research study on adolescent behavior and language using ANOVA analysis on subset of longitudinal data- published study as sole author  in The Journal of Student Research (2021)

• Selected to collaborate with a team of engineers and designers to develop a self-diagnostic app centered around in-depth psychological research conducted on hesitant language use

• Worked with teams on a digital application and community-powered solution, Um&Uh (Amanda), aimed at improving confidence amongst millennial and Gen Z women
